Sign Wizards utilizes a Colorspan DM6000
and a Displaymaker Pro 1000 for digital printing. The DM6000
has an 8-head printing system, which both increases printing
speeds and the range of colors it can achieve. The printing resolution
is an apparent 1200 DPI, a result of the 8-head printing system.
The inks used for printing are UV resistant, yet the color is
still very vibrant.
We can accept files on many types of
digital media; zip disks, jaz drives, CD rom, 3.5" floppy
disks and email. For any file above 80 megs, there is a $60 fee
for the color processing time. This means the sum total of all
files used in a multi-page document, a single page file which
uses a large image over 80 megs or a single page file which uses
a quantity of images which total more than 80 megs.
We can also scan images on our flatbed
scanner. It can scan an image as small as a business card and
up to an 11" x 14" area. For images which require a
higher resolution and color accuracy that one can obtain with
a flatbed scanner, we can arrange to have your image drum scanned.
The materials available for use with
digital imaging are constantly growing, from paper to vinyl to
Lexan. Coupled with a large range of mounting substrates and
laminating materials, the options are numerous for what we can
create within the digital imaging format. Our pricing page contains
a reference of printing media, laminates and mounting substrates,
as well as costs for each.
